RPA Waterproofing was called in to resolve a persistent balcony leak for an industry-related client in Wilderness, Constantia Drive—an area known for its breathtaking views and inclement weather. The balcony featured complex detailing around circular columns and a mix of various materials including aluminium, brick, steel & concrete which made terminating detail challenging. EPDM was the perfect solution, offering unmatched flexibility and vast detailing solutions across multiple substrates. Its seamless installation allowed for precise adaption of the current flooring system, while its durability made it ideal for a tiling finish with the use of a latex additive. Even the balustrade fixings weren’t a concern and were expertly integrated into the EPDM membrane, ensuring a clean, watertight finish built to last.
